October 2, 2026, as we celebrate 50 years since our graduation!
We've reserved the Drury Plaza Convention Center, adjacent to the Drury Plaza Hotel, for this milestone celebration. The evening will begin with a cocktail hour at 6:00 p.m., followed by a buffet dinner at 7:00 p.m., catered by The Southerner. After dinner, we'll keep the cash bar open while enjoying great music, reconnecting with classmates, and reminiscing about the memories that made our high school years so special.
Your Reunion Planning Committee has been working hard to make this a weekend to remember! In addition to Friday night's celebration, Saturday will offer opportunities to continue catching up with friends through golf, pickleball, and informal gatherings at several local favorite spots.

The cost for Friday evening's banquet is $55 per person, the same price as our 40-year reunion. All RSVPs and payments must be received by September 20, 2026.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: Central Office located at 301 North Clark will be closed to the public tomorrow (June 9) as we clean up our office. Our staff will be here working, but we won't be able to have people coming and going while we work to get things back in order.

As you may already know, the National Weather Service has placed Cape Girardeau under a severe weather threat for this evening.
To ensure the safety of our students, please note these important changes:
-All evening competitions have been canceled today, Monday, April 27, 2026.
-After-school practices and Cub Club will continue as planned.
-The school board meeting is being rescheduled to Monday, May 4, 2026.

CGPS is hosting free developmental screenings for children ages six months to 34 months on February 20th and April 10th. Screenings help parents understand if their child is developing within the normal range for his/her age. To attend a screening, please click here to fill out a screening form.
